WooHoo. I bought and used my first hair product since last summer! The bottle says it has diamond dust and champagne in there so I knew it was a good one. I made it just a tad spikey. I think it made it look like there was more hair than there is.......
I did get an offer from a barber to trim up my ends a bit.

Tomorrow eyeliner. I really need to get my girl on.

We went SHOPPING!
Went to Caledonia with my sister so she could check out the Gigglin Pig. We stopped at a few other antique stores and I discovered this little doll. Now I know what to do with all my faces. :) It wasn't the creepiest thing we saw out there though. One basement had a huge saw blade, a hatchet and a dark corner. Yikes. It was almost as scary as walking upstairs. I was almost seasick. The stairs are so tiny too. Did they just tiptoe around or did everyone have baby feet.?
Back to playing with YuDu. So far I've wasted 2 emulsion sheets and 1 adhesive sheet. I do have a better idea on how to use it though. I'm going to make an attempt at an actual project this time. Wish me luck....

My YuDu Adventures
Well.......
I'm a complete novice at screenprinting. It should come as no suprise then that I'm having a few issues with the YuDu. I got the whole printing onto the ink jet transfer no problem. Yay!
Got stumped with the next part. I didn't read all the tips and tricks and just plowed forward. The first time I tried to burn an image into the emulsion it didn't really work. I didn't pay enough attention to that whole "make sure it's dry" thing. Boy that's really important. ;) My first attempt just sort of washed off and bubbled up. It was horrible.
My second attempt. I put it thru the dryer part 2x - just to make sure. I used the same transparency so I don't know if that's why it came out kind of funny. The parts of the transparency that I used a permanent marker on came off onto the emulsion. I was pleased to see that a test box of info seemed to come out good. Some images that I tried to make contrasty didn't work too well. I think it's because they printed out too grey instead of black. Also parts looked a little burnt. Not really burnt but maybe overcooked a tad. I was able to wash the screen off and with just a bit of touchup I should be able to make a test print. I'm going to wait until tomorrow. I want to be extra sure it's dry.
Plus I need to rest Bob. Bob still has problems and I'm getting mighty sick of it. He even wakes me up in the middle of the night. One week of antibiotics down - 2 more to go...........

Is it the hair?????
I admit to being a bit sensitive about my hair. I didn't think it would bother me so much but in a weird way it did. I think it had more to do with the way people related to me than anything.
I was lucky enough to meet up with my friends Friday night anad when we were leaving I noticed someone wrote something in the frost on the back of my car.
Do you think I'm being paranoid that I think someone got the wrong idea just because I was with 3 woman and someone wrote PENIS on my car? I'm wondering...........

Bob Issues
Just when you thought it was safe to put away the compression bra.......
Dang Bob had to get all swelled up and fiesty. Bobs - can't live with them - can't live without them.
I'm supposed to go for my follow-up mammogram on Bob on 2/23. If he keeps acting up it may not happen. I will be awfully bummed. I'm kinda gearing myself up for this appointment. One, because mammograms hurt me and I don't want to be hurt and Two, I'm kinda nervous that they might find something again.
If they do - Bob is history.
I've been warning him to buck up and act like a Bob should but I'm not sure he's hearing me.
Get better Bob - get better.

Go Susan - Go Susan
Susan I have been thinking of you all morning. Wondering just when you were taking that delightful little dip into Lake Ontario for the Polar Plunge. I know it's today but couldn't remember what time it started. Yikes it's sunny out there but the tempature is 32 degrees with some serious looking wind. Oooh be careful out there Missy. You're my little sunshine right now. I'm just picturing you as that creepy little lady on Poltergeist - Go into the light Carol Ann......... Obviously you don't look a thing like the creepy lady - it's the whole light thing. You know how you told me it's time to buck up etc.
I'm trying........ ;)
I'm actually jealous of my brother Dave who has lost a ton of weight. Well I haven't actually seen him since he lost the weight. But my sister has. I think I just found it and am keeping it handy for him. Anytime you want it back Dave is fine with me.
My dad and I joined a gym last December. We actually went to the gym the other day. We drove up to the parking lot - saw other people in there and decided to come back another day. Please note.... we WENT to the gym.
Baby steps okay....
